Boys and their moms
I got really sick this week. On Monday, when the kids came home from school, I was on the couch with a fever and my boys became concerned. Isaac said, "When we are sick you take care of us. Who will take care of you?" He then answered his own questions and said, "I know, Dad." Then Grant said, "but Dad doesn't know how to footzone." Isaac's countenance fell again at this realization. Grant said, "Dad needs to learn how." Isaac then lit up and said, "yes Dad can learn and you can teach him." Then he looked at me again with a sad look and said "wait, you are sick and can't teach him right now. You need to find a footzoner here Mom." I reassurred him and Grant that I would be OK. They both wanted so bad to fix it. I loved them more for trying to fix it and loving me so much. There is nothing like having little boys who love you more than anyone else.
