Alison got to go on the river this year. You must be able to swim well to go on the trip. A few days before camping we went swimming. She was trying to prove she could swim well enough. I said she was only good enough if she could jump off the diving board and swim to the edge without any assistance. She not only did it once, but 5 times. So there she is ready to brave the rapids.
Within the first hour of being at the campground Isaac fell off a bench and sliced his head. We had no glue and the closest hospital was an hour away. Grandpa and I just bandaged it well and hoped it would heal without much scaring. With some bandages, tea tree, neosporin, and lavender it looks good now.

What great photos, Steph. I love seeing your kids doing things - they get so excited about the little things. We all should take a lesson from the little ones.
I hate that we had to miss that trip! We have been wanting to go camping forever! Did Alison freak out at all?
